Hi, y'all! Welcome to Lottie & Lucy! We're so glad you're here. I can't tell you how we got here without first telling you where I came from. I'm from a small town in Mississippi, where the tea is sweet, and our accents are long. I am a stay-at-home mom of two precious girls and wife to a busy medical husband. Somewhere along the way, perhaps related to the uncertainty of a worldwide pandemic, I found myself wanting more. I needed a creative outlet, a place where I could express myself and not mindlessly scroll social media after all the bedtime dust had settled and they're tucked in for the night. My southern roots and love for all things fancy (but on sale, y'all) had me transforming vintage, designer buttons into jewelry that I could wear to Saturday brunch or an afternoon at the vineyard. I guess that's what we all want from life: someone to scoop us up, transform us with a bit of love into something new, and call us pretty. The past few months I have extended my scope of accessories into hand-sewn headbands, fabric button earrings, and finding jewelry from small, women-owned businesses throughout the United States. I love making and creating, but I also enjoy taking the time to curate a selection of earrings the everyday person may enjoy. Just a gal supporting another gal— making the world go ‘round! :) I hope you love my pieces as much as I do.
